My name is Dr Annie Beyer. I am the Principal Psychologist and Director of Beyer Psychology services. I completed my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at Teesside University in 2011. Since then I have primarily worked in the NHS with adults with severe and enduring mental health difficulties across the North East of England and Berkshire. I am now based in Cardiff and work part time in the NHS whilst maintaining a private practice and working as an independent researcher and author.

I am registered with the Health & Care Professions Council. You can check the registration status of any practitioner psychologist by visiting the HCPC website. I am also a chartered member of the British Psychological Society and a member of EMDR UK and Ireland. Registration and membership with these organisations mean I adhere to their standards of conduct, performance and ethics, and meet their conditions of continuing professional development.

Through Beyer Psychology Services I provide therapy to individuals and couples in a safe and confidential therapeutic space. You can read more about the psychological therapies I provide and what difficulties I am able to help with here. I also provide supervision for trainee and qualified psychologists and therapists. You can read more about supervision here.
